| | Mark Abrahamson | These photographs focus on water and the impacts of land use upon it. Mr. Abrahamson says: “I saw the landscape continuously redefined by development and the forces of nature. The subversive formalism of the imagery underscored the deceptive beauty of the land, while the oblique shooting angle added to the ambiguity of the work. Upon close inspection, the world below was both troubled and complex.” |
Mark Abrahamson has been a national photographer for the last 30 years. He has exhibited at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington DC and has had hundreds of solo show,s with the most current at the OK Harris Gallery in New York. Mark’s current work focuses on aerial photography around the country including an extensive survey of the Great Lakes. |
